The aftermath of around 8 hours of sewing on my day off 
The top of my "Purple Reign" dress I'm making to wear to Amaranth 2010. Fabric doesn't photograph awfully well, but it's purple satin with a layer of purple lace overlaid on top. Lining is black, whole garment is edged with black bias binding, which is handsewn to the lining.
Can't be bothered going into detail as it's getting really late, I'll upload the back view too. Since I don't have my duct tape dummy anymore (I donated it to school when I left), I've chucked it on a pillowcase, which actually does quite a good job!
Pattern is a modified Simplicity 5006.
