chreativist studio web portfolio version 1.0

For the past 6 weeks at uni, one of my assignments was to make a personal portfolio website. It involved Javascript, jQuery (Quicksand and prettyPhoto plugins), HTML, CSS, a lot of div tags and a lot of nights staying up until 2am coding my life away.

I also designed the logo, that was for another subject, and it influenced the design aesthetic for the website.

I'm pleased with how it turned out, and that I could use it in real-life. Of course, I'm going to have to buy a domain name to host my site, which will happen eventually, going to start small right now. I might have to start another portfolio for my costumes!

In 6 weeks I will have some multimedia work to add to my portfolio; note the "Coming Soon" section in the navigation bar!

Hi! ~our-solemn-hour here, you may call me Cal if you like.
I'm currently studying Graphic and Digital Media Design at university, don't know what I'll be doing in the future, but it definitely has to be creative!

My art is a eclectic mixture of genres, mainly textiles and culinary art. I also dabble in photography, animation and digital art from time to time.

Over the past two years I have started to regularly cosplay, so a part of my gallery is devoted to my cosplays and costumes as well.

Wow - that's really pretty! The top is lovely. I think you should if you've got the time and money to spend on the project. I'd certainly sew more if I wasn't working and studying part time...

I must say I agree on the skirt, the tulle is nice. Perhaps even an overskirt gathered up to one side to show some of the tulle underneath?
